Cheryl Holland Bridges
Director

Cheryl Holland Bridges brings over 25 years of retailing experience to the Center. Prior to her appointment as Director she served as the Associate Director of the Center for Retailing Studies. Before joining the Center and Texas A&M University she was Sr. Vice President of Merchandising for Ashford.com. She also held senior management and vice president positions with Federated Dept. Stores, the New York Corporate office for BATUS stores, Rodier Paris, and Halls Merchandising. Each semester she teaches MKTG 327 "Retailing Merchandising," the only course of its kind at Mays Business School. She brings her experience and expertise to the classroom; to the various programs the Center sponsors; and to retailing partners of the Center. She has been quoted on various retailing issues in national publications including the Wall Street Journal, Women’s Wear Daily, and USA Today.

Bridges is an honor graduate of Texas Woman’s University and has received the University’s Distinguished Alumna Award. She is a member of the Former Students Associations of Texas Woman’s University and Texas A&M University; Fashion Group International; the American Collegiate Retailing Association; National Retail Federation, Retail Executive Association, and serves as an ATMentor to students of Texas A&M University

Dr. Manjit Yadav
Research Director

Manjit S. Yadav is Associate Professor of Marketing, and was appointed CRS Research Director in 2007. He obtained his Ph.D. in marketing from Virginia Tech.

Dr. Yadav’s current research focuses on marketing strategy in electronic environments, particularly issues related to innovation and technological change. His work has been published in a number of leading marketing journals, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and Journal of Retailing. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Journal of Interactive Marketing.

Dr. Yadav has taught at the undergraduate (Strategic Internet Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Research), masters (E-Commerce Strategy, Product Innovation), and doctoral levels (Seminar in Consumer Behavior). He has also been on the faculty of the Mays Business School’s Executive MBA program. He is a recipient of the Faculty Distinguished Achievement Award in Teaching at Mays Business School.

Dr. Yadav’s presentations to industry groups focus primarily on crafting marketing strategy to compete more effectively in the electronic marketplace. Consulting and executive development assignments have been completed with a number of companies, including Halliburton, and Telecom Italia. He obtained his Ph.D. in marketing from Virginia Tech.

Kelli Hollinger
Assistant Director

Kelli Hollinger manages all CRS communication and marketing. She promotes the Center's programs through media contacts, print publications, video productions, and the Center's websites: crstamu.org and retailingsummit.org. In conjunction with the Director, serves as a primary contact to the Center's 35 sponsor companies.

She manages speaker organizaton, site staging and major logistcs for the Center' s signature executive education prorgam, the Retailing Summit. Kelli cooridnates the Certificate in Retailing program and teaches MKTG 484 Internship.

She graduated from the Honors College of Louisiana State Univeristy in Baton Rouge and completed a Masters of Arts in History at Texas A&M University. Before joining the Center, she served as marketing coordinator for the MSC Forsyth Center Galleries and as an advisor to two student organizations.

Tyan Jacox
Program Coordinator

Tyan Jacox serves as the primary coordinator for all of the Center's campus programs including two Retailing Career Fairs, the M.B. Zale Visionary Merchant Lecture, Sponsor Forum and executive professor teaching program. She serves as advisor to the 175 member Student Retailing Association.

Tyan holds a degree in economics from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the Center, she served as an administrative assistant in TEEX.

Brittney Williams
Office Associate

Brittney Williams joined the Center as Office Associate in 2008. Brittney is a graduate of Bryan High School and currently attends Blinn College. She joins CRS after four years with Texas A&M University's Dining Services where she served as a secretary before promotion to Training Manager.

With her positive attitude and enthusiasm for public speaking, she will help in CRS's recruitment efforts and manage front desk reception duties. Her interests include music, reading, writing and art. She is currently producing an album, in which she wrote all songs. Brittney has a son, Christopher.
