Objectives of the Executive Professor Program

Executive Professors mentor future retail leaders by sharing their experiences with undergraduate and graduate students pursuing retailing careers. Visiting executives are invited from all retail areas including: retail buying, hard & soft lines, service delivery, consulting and creative design. Their participation in the classroom guides students and faculty through current industry trends and case studies from those leading the business today.

Executive Activities

  • Teach in the classroom as "professor for a day" to share experiences and insights
  • Promote career opportunities within your company
  • Lecture in several marketing/retailing classes
  • Meet informally with the dean of the business school and other faculty, Center staff, and the best retailing students
  • Learn about the retailing program at Mays Business School
