Jim McIngvale is a master merchant.  Owner and founder of the largest single-store furniture showroom in the world, “Mattress Mack” loves to save people money, deliver true excellence in customer service, and offer the widest selection of quality furniture for any discerning buyer. 

To inspire a new generation of students to discover the world of retailing, he will create the Gallery Furniture Interactive Library in Mays Business School.  The facility will feature state of the art technology to provide students with current information about the retailing industry.  Flat-panel televisions will broadcast current business news, major marketing campaigns, and specially recorded CEO interviews.  Comfortable couches and chairs will provide students with a place to study and to learn more about the exciting world of retailing.
